Keith
and Leslie Herbert became pool owners in 1999. Not
knowing much about pools or water chemistry, the pool
was a chore to them, and not much fun. Then, one day,
Leslie went to a pool store and found out what they
needed to do for the pool, and it became much more fun
for them.
The
Herberts have been manufacturing and selling their own
Mastercraft hot tubs in Maryland since 2005. At
one of their tent shows in 2007, someone mentioned
that a pool store in Mt. Airy would be "a blessing."
After some research, Keith and Leslie agreed, and the
world of swimming pools came to Mt. Airy.
But
what to call the store? They wanted the name to convey
the warm and friendly feeling they wanted customers to
feel when they came. One day, their daughter, Kristen,
who was 5 at the time, said, "How about cozy?" Keith
and Leslie latched onto the word, and Cozy Pools was
born.
Keith
and Leslie moved to the area in 1999. They have two
children: Tyler, age 13; and Kristen, now age 10.
Keith is a pilot, and he and Leslie enjoy traveling
when they can, especially to New Orleans and Mexico.
However, it isn't often they can get away from the
shop long enough to go anywhere, so they spend the
little bit of free time they have hanging out with
family.
If your pool needs
maintenance or some fresh ideas, or the thought of
relaxing in a hot tub sounds good to you, come to Cozy
Pools, where you will find warm, friendly advice and
service, and the best products in the industry. Be
sure to take a look at the Big Green Egg, a great
smoker, grill and barbecue. You will enjoy the shop,
and you will enjoy your home more after taking
advantage of what they have to offer. You might even
say you will feel downright cozy! |
